Introduction

Daisy is a 9 year old girl who was born with Pseudobulbar Palsy, a form of Cerebral Palsy. The intention of this blog is to chronicle the events leading up to, during and after, her endeavour to walk the Offa's Dyke path. This is a 177 mile walk from Prestatyn in North Wales to the Severn Estuary, a journey along the English-Welsh border.

Daisy wants to do this because it is a big challenge, as when she was born, the doctors said that she would never be able to walk. However, now she is doing extremely well. Together with the support of her extended family, she will be completing the trail over the May half-term break, and hoping to raise a target of £5000 for Scope. Scope is a charity which supports people with Cerebral Palsy and helped Daisy in the early stages of her life.
